Excited to be exhibiting in Warwickshire Open Studios 2025 and as part of Leamington Studio Artists

Join me on Friday 27th June 7:30pm for a glass of fizz in my garden, meet our friendly bantams and browse my art in my garden studio.

Biography

My work is focused on nature and my travels. Initially enjoying photography, I have now discovered painting in a variety of media, including watercolour, ink, and acrylics.

On my travels, I enjoy experimenting with outdoor sketching in watercolours with inks to produce loose and free images that try and capture the moment expressively. Back in my studio, I also work in acrylics to produce dynamic paintings with dramatic skies or seas, using layers of colours to give depth and cohesiveness. I have recently discovered collage and am enjoying ‘playing’ with this new artform to create paintings that combine cuttings from places I have visited on my travels, alongside views I have photographed or sketched.

My current paintings cover paintings from The Isles of Scilly, where I have spent time over the last few years, as well as inspiration from Devon, Northumberland, Sussex,  Norway, New Zealand and Australia. I have a mixture of unframed prints, framed prints, canvas, framed canvas and deckled edge watercolour paintings for sale.
