Biography

Carla  is a textile artist whose work is inspired by the surrounding countryside.  She creates layered pieces using fabrics and threads she has hand dyed, often combined with carefully chosen reclaimed materials.  

Her main passion is eco printing using leaves, plants and natural elements gathered locally.  While eco printing holds a special place in her practice, Carla enjoys experimenting with all forms of dyeing and printing, always keen to explore new techniques and possibilities.
