Biography
I’m a potter exploring my artistic expression with clay.
Bringing ceramics and feminist storytelling together, sometimes in a fun positive way and sometimes as a deeper darker commentary; I’m interested in holding up a mirror to experiences and sending positive ceramic messages of solidarity to those for whom they resonate. Mermaids, feminised deities and demons are one way I investigate and represent this, as they have been used for centuries to demonise, marginalise and other. Now, increasingly, they are used to empower.
