Exhibition and News
Join me in my garden studio this summer for Warwickshire Open Studios. The exhibition space is set in the garden room – a cool and peaceful place to relax, view original artwork, and enjoy a slower pace.
There will be refreshments, plants, and cakes available, with donations going to Priory Pools Community Centre. You can also meet our friendly bantams and try your hand at watercolours at my sketching station.
A relaxed creative space for visitors of all ages – I’d love to welcome you.
Biography
Nature and travel are at the heart of Janette’s creative practice. Inspired by landscapes, places visited, and details observed along the way, her work combines a variety of techniques and materials to explore colour, line, and texture.
Working with watercolours and inks, Janette creates sketch-line pieces that capture the essence and atmosphere of a scene. Her acrylic paintings are more layered and experimental, using colour and collage to build dynamic, expressive compositions.
Recent ceramic work takes these ideas into three dimensions, extending her interest in surface, form, and the natural environment.
Each piece reflects a continuing journey of exploration, experimentation, and connection with the world around us.
