Sandra Wadkin is an award winning artist from Redditch Worcestershire . Her “fractured “ series of artwork can be found in independent galleries across the UK .

She is continually experimenting with new media and ideas including the new nature inspired  “Zen”  series created using her iPad influenced by the iPad paintings by David Hockney . Sandra is fascinated by the discourse surrounding the ideals of beauty and celebrity status and her “Fractured”and “Kintsugi” series looks at presenting portraits in styles that challenge the conventions of portraits. Her favourite artist is Gerhard Richter because he’s never been pigeon holes into sticking to just one style are creating art . “Making art is about self expression, I’d say I have a degree of neurodiversity that makes me want to push outside my comfort zone constantly and push what I can achieve . I’m not afraid to learn Procreate or use materials in new ways to achieve what’s in my head .” In the last 12 months the “Balance “  and Wilderness” series of abstracts have found new collectors , and she continues to to experiment with paint viscosity for the Van-Dog pet portraits and new Star Wars portrait series .
