Biography

Janet gained a BA Hons at Birmingham School of Jewellery.

Working in silver, gold and carefully selected gemstones (sometimes combined with original antique pieces), she handcrafts her pieces using traditional bench skills, focusing on details like texture to create her unique collections.

She reuses and remodels materials wherever possible and incorporates found objects in her work.  

All work is infused with her love of jewellery craftsmanship and its heritage.  She has worked with talented jewellers and with large jewellery suppliers where she held workshops and shared her passion for making.

Janet has her own Maker’s Mark for pieces which require hallmarking to be assayed at the Birmingham Assay Office.
