I showcase original hand-printed linocut artwork inspired by nature, folklore and expressive portraiture. Each print begins as a hand-carved lino block and is carefully printed using traditional relief printing techniques, celebrating bold lines, texture and the individuality of hand pressed prints. Subjects range from British birds and woodland animals to striking figurative designs all made with a love of the printmaking process.
Visitors to St Johns are warmly invited to see a selection of original linocut prints, learn more about the printmaking process from carving to printing and browse finished artworks. There is a chance to explore the craftsmanship behind linocut printing, folklore in art, ask questions, and discover unique, limited edition prints suitable for collectors, interiors and thoughtful gifts.
