SUMMER ART WEEKS
– 20 JUNE to 5 JULY 2026 –
As a true celebration of the variety and quality of visual art available locally, Summer Art Weeks is open to all – from passionate amateurs to professional artists, across all mediums. It’s a wonderful chance for art enthusiasts to engage directly with artists, learn about their inspirations and processes, and discover how the art comes to life.
Our CONNECT service which helps facilitate the bringing together of artists and venues is now live.
This year’s event was in the glorious grounds of Compton Verney – Britain’s leading art gallery in a park. Set within 120 acres of grade II listed parkland designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown, artists were inspired by the mansion house, lake, coppice, meadowland and treelined avenues. Over 70 artists braved the weather on the day to produce a beautiful range of pieces.
Do you want to get creative? Many of our artists run workshops that you can take part in to learn a new skill or improve your own creative practice. They might take place in their own studios or in a shared space, but there are lots to choose from across all different mediums.
