My ceramics are inspired by the changing seasons, landscapes and the beauty of the natural world. Much of my decoration uses real flowers and plants, carefully hand-painted after the first firing and each one totally unique. Recently I have been developing forms incorporating wood, willow and other natural materials into the fired pieces.
The spacious studio at Leasowe Farm is set in a beautiful courtyard garden and this year the space will be shared by me, Jane Ingall with her wonderful mix of printing techniques, Hazel Godfrey who makes beautiful baskets of all kinds, and John Ingall with his stained glass embellished gourds. We will be demonstrating aspects of our creative processes daily.
