The magic and mystery of painting in watercolour is a lifelong fascination and a constant learning process. My aim is to find the balance between control and letting the paint flow.

I graduated in graphic design & illustration from UCE in 1989, and have worked in the design world ever since, first freelancing as an illustrator and have been a partner in a Midlands design agency, until 2020. In 2011 I was elected to the Birmingham Watercolour Society and exhibited with the Society regularly until they were forced to close after Covid. Now my work is mostly commissioned.
