Karen Pittaway is an established artist whose work can be seen adorning the walls of many homes in and around Kenilworth, Cambridge and other towns and cities around the country. She focuses on the life of a town. Her street scenes filled with activity and interest. She works in oil on canvas and her commissioned work has found its way around the world, her work travelling much further than she has, or will, ever travel! Many of her original artworks are available as signed giclée prints. Apart from her well known street scenes she loves to paint from nature and is planning some work along the beautiful Jurassic coastline of Dorset. She has also become known for her large corvid palette knife paintings... crows with a mystic quality. The weird and the wonderful are a constant source of fascination and inspiration. This year the studio will also have the work of Helen Woodcock (studio buddy) on display. Also, Diane Shores, a mixed media artist whose vibrant work is full of joy.
