Contemporary artist Emily Burgoine uses movement and colour to express her love of the countryside. Inspired by the natural world and places she visits, she aims to capture her memories of the world around her.

“My biggest inspiration is mother nature. I love being in nature and am forever inspired by mother earth, her rhythms and seasons, her simplicity and complexity, her light and dark.”

Emily graduated from Oxford Brookes University in 2007 with a degree in BA (Hons) Contemporary Fine Art. Since then she has built up a successful corporate career in digital marketing alongside developing her artistic practice from her home studio in the Worcestershire village of Harvington.
