A portrait and figurative artist pushing boundaries with charcoal, wash and graphite.

My artwork is influenced by my former career as a Physique Athlete, my time within contemporary dance and my passion for life drawing. The body fascinates me, from expressive movement to anatomical studies. From emotions to the shapes, shadows, and lines. My creations vary from large figurative nudes, small sketchbook drawings, wash paintings and more. Recently I have found myself experimenting with life modelling, photography and figurative sculpture which has further enriched my practise.

My work and process can be experienced across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and at www.ArtistDonnaMurphy.com. I have a variety of originals available as well as limited edition prints. My work can also be found in person at local art events and in galleries overseas. I love to meet art collectors and am very much looking forward to doing so at Alscot, Stratford for the fabulous WOS event!
