After many years of making ceramics, some of which will be shown, I began to concentrate on painting, printing and drawing. After so long in one artform I now enjoy the freedom to explore methods and subject matter, so have both figurative and abstract images. My favoured medium for painting is oil on canvas. Most important for me is colour: its depth and glow. My work is best seen with plenty of light for the colours to sing. I will have paintings, prints – both mounted and unmounted – and cards for sale, as well as some ceramics.
