Warwickshire-based artist Charmaine Host has been using her creative skills for many years as a singer/songwriter, author and poet. Her audiences have included folk clubs and church congregations where she served as a parish priest, one of the first to be ordained such in the Church of England in 1994. Since 2015 she has developed a fine art practice in filming, performance, painting and textile art. Her interests lie in the area of inner and outer journeys, spirituality and love. These themes emerge in her latest work 'A journey without maps.' She has a BA (Hon) First Class in Fine Art from Wolverhampton School of Art.
