I'm a weaver from New Zealand, currently living in Stratford-upon-Avon. I learned the art of Māori weaving under the tutelage of Māori Master Weaver Veranoa Hetet.
My baskets are woven with NZ flax (Phormium tenax) which I harvest from plants growing locally in Warwickshire and hand-dye using specialist NZ flax dyes.
My baskets range from intricately woven, patterned baskets to more rustic baskets and small baskets, which make useful and beautiful items for the home.
I look forward to meeting you and sharing my passion for Māori weaving. I will be available to demonstrate my weaving process on weekends, by request.
