I’m a self taught artist, encouraged from a young age by my family and local art shows to pick up a pen and draw. In my early teens I discovered Japanese Anime and Manga which I still love to this day.
Over the years it’s evolved into a love for all things Japan: an influence you can see in my work. Other inspirations to me are tattoo art, book illustrations, and artists such as Klimt, Beardsley, Hokusai, Sugawa Makiko, and Takato Yamamoto.
This will be my 4th year exhibiting with Summer Art Weeks and I’m really excited to be having a space with the hugely talented potters over at The Ceramics Studio. I’ll be selling original works, prints, cards and other bits and bobs. I look forward to seeing you!
