Photography

My journey into photography is relatively new. I have always enjoyed taking photographs, but it wasn't until I studied with The Photography Institute, London in 2019 that I realised what had previously been an interest had become a passion, steering me toward a deeper enquiry into the niche where my images would naturally fall. I am drawn to the landscape and make photographs that are predominantly black and white, minimalistic because they allow me to communicate the sense of space and stillness that I wish to evoke. In addition, I have also enjoyed photographing historical buildings, particularly ruins, for they invite us to reflect on the stories they hold. The photographic image is a powerful medium for contemplation and can urge us to see the world differently. The event will take place in my home, which I warmly invite you to. There will be framed images available for purchase and an opportunity to order from my greater selection.
