Monster on Holy Trinity Spire Coventry
Region:
Coventry
Artform:
Drawing, Glass, Illustration, Installation, Mixed media, Painting, Photography, Sculpture

Joining forces for the first time, four artists from Coventry – Photographer John Whitmore, Illustrator and Monster Maker Emma O'Brien, Artist Anita Sunger and Maker of Tiny Glass Stuff Amanda Glanville – have the fantastic opportunity to transform a space in Coventry's iconic Holy Trinity Church for an exhibition in City of Culture year.
Large-scale photographs of Coventry become intriguing sculptures you can walk around. Get up close to see if you can recognise the places and even closer to spot the non-photographic things that should (or shouldn't!) be there; there are clues to what WAS there, and dreams of what could be.
Follow the art trail of smaller pieces around the church, which will encourage you to enjoy the many beautiful things permanently on display.
An approachable, thought-provoking exhibition to chime with Coventry Kids young and old, adopted Coventry Kids and visitors alike.
