Born in Stratford upon Avon, Ros Ingram trained in ceramics and print at the Art and Design School of Wolverhampton University, teaching there after she graduated. Working from her studio at Unit 13 Ditchford Farm, Ros undertakes commissions and runs clay workshops on a regular basis. Ros's own artwork has developed over the years combining brightly glazed porcelain with retro metallic consumables. Many of her sculptures also involve an interactive element, such as music boxes or spinning hand drills attached to raku-fired birds. She has exhibited worldwide, currently showing at a number of galleries in the Cotswolds, Cornwall, and Borkum in Germany. Ros also works as a visiting artist in residence creating permanent ceramic installations and recycled art projects. The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust commissioned Ros to create five unique ceramic murals of each iconic property for permanent display in her hometown. This year Ros is making additional porcelain plaques to add to historic buildings around the town of Shipston on Stour.
