Please contact me on 01926 815196 for a private view of my work. I live in the pretty village of Ladbroke so combine your visit with a walk round the village using our Village Trail Map; we have a lot of history to discover. Call in at our Grade 1 listed church, newly restored with funding from The National Lottery Heritage fund. Finish with lunch at The Bell Inn at Ladbroke..
I have been working in clay for about 15 years, and love the variety of textures, clays and glazes. After exploring many different styles, I have developed my own stretched and ripped finishes - rough edges are my thing. Inspired by my passion for geography, landscapes, plants and travels to so many beautiful wild places on this earth, my ceramics are elemental, tactile and textured. My pieces interpret the feel and essence of places I have visited. I am also a Medical Herbalist with a connection to the essence of plants, and imprint them into the clay surfaces to bring them alive. I hand build, rip, tear and carve my pots before decorating with slips, oxides and beautiful high colour glazes. They are bold and impactful; I love colour and texture. You'll want to pick them up and feel them, so take a trip to our peaceful studio in Snitterfield and see for yourself.
