Visitors can view my work in my studio in East Lodge Gallery, Jephson Gardens, Leamington Spa. It will be open to the public every week from Wednesday to Sunday.
I was honoured recently to have my painting 'Xanadu' selected to be featured in House & Garden UK for April - The Art Edit.
Some of my most recent paintings from the series 'Landscapes of my Mind' have been selected to be showcased at the Shoot festival and can be viewed at The Belgrade Theatre mezzanine, in Coventry from Saturday 32rd April to Saturday 7th May.
My studio will also be open for tours and most recent works can be viewed during this year's Art in the Park Festival in Leamington Spa, from Saturday 13th to Sunday 14th August.
Maddie paints from her studio in the beautiful and historic Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire UK. Her abstracted and multi layered paintings in acrylics & oils are unique and evocative of the vibrant land and seascapes which inspire her.
Maddie's childhood was spent living by the sea in Scotland, in her most recent series of works she transports the viewer back to her time foraging in rock pools and exploring sea caves through her use of colour and emotion. Travel also plays a key role in Maddie's practice and her paintings are a visual journey of all those experiences.
