The main theme of my work is landscape - flowers, trees, mud, grass and rain are repeated motifs. I look to capture the rhythm of wild things and places, particularly those that are obscured, hidden or overlooked. Underlying that is a fascination with boundaries and borders; of objects and light trapped or suspended in space, to create magical and fleeting light effects. And sometimes I just like to draw something that catches my eye.
I have an MA Fine Art from Edinburgh University and and MA in Electronic Arts from Middlesex University.
