Fairy Wren in watercolour

This is an ongoing class that restarts each term. I am taking bookings for the Autumn Term 2024. The quoted fee refects 10 weeks of teaching.

These will be mixed ability classes which has worked well in the past. My mode of teaching is demonstration first at the beginning of each session and then individual tuition based on the demonstration. My teaching style is student centred. I like to find out where the student is in their process and assist them from this point. I can give advice on the best places to buy art materials also.

We will work with line, tone, colour mixing. We will learn traditional and experimental techniques after basic skills have been established. I like to work in areas that students are interested in. We tend to work in a variety of subject matter. Such as, landscape, still life, portrait, figure drawing and animals. Drawing skills will also be covered so that we can get the best out of creating watercolours. Any queries please dont hesitate to ask.
