We are hoping to run SAORI Weaving Days on the following dates:

July 10,24, 25
Aug 14,15,28,29

On a SAORI Weaving Day, you will be taught how to use a SAORI loom and shown a variety of weaving techniques which will enable you to weave your own unique cloth.

You will be encouraged to explore your inner child, express your natural creativity and discover your artist's voice. This is a wonderful opportunity to take time out and enjoy the space and environment to be your most creative self.

All materials and equipment will be provided though you may like to bring yarns, pieces of fabric, buttons and anything else they may wish to include in your creative weaving. (This is entirely optional.)

Refreshments during the day will be provided. Guests are asked to bring their own lunches or may purchase food from the local village shop just a few minutes walk.

No experience required and all ages welcome from 6 years old!
A wonderful activity for the whole family!

‘My time with Amanda and our wonderful group of weavers was the perfect day. A beautiful day in the countryside with lovely people, creating straight from the heart. The day flowed effortlessly and Amanda was always on hand to offer advice, history and other titbits of knowledge about the world of Saori. The spirit of Saori was in every aspect of our day together. Encouragement, peace, tranquillity and unbridled creativity. I thank Amanda from the bottom of my heart for introducing me to an art that I can be proud of. I hope I can come back again soon!’
