Learn how to create a two-block linocut print using layers to bring your prints alive! This weekend workshop - yes - TWO DAYS of printing - it will leave you well and truly bitten by the printing bug!

Suitable for beginners or those with experience of linocut you will learn techniques that you can take away to continue your printing adventures at home; no need for a printing press or expensive equipment.

On this two day course you will also learn more about the different tools and how to care for them, as well as investigating different mark making techniques before creating your print.

You'll learn how to safely cut the 'Lino' to create your design using two carved blocks to create a layered print and print your designs onto quality art paper.

Bring along your own images or ideas to use as inspiration or you can choose one of our designs to start you off.

Plus you will be able to take away techniques and methods to be able to create wonderful prints in your own home – no need for a printing press or expensive equipment – including learning the magic of printing with a spoon!

All equipment will be provided as well as plenty of tea coffee and cake to keep you printing, but please bring along some lunch with you.

You will get to keep your linocut and take home several printed images of your design.
