Linocut workshop by Alix Almond

Join Alix to learn how to carve and print your own linocut edition; and what's all this about using a spoon???

Held at a wonderful venue in Kenilworth your day will start at 10am and finish at approximately 5pm.

You will create a hand-printed edition of either prints or greeting cards and learn techniques to take away to be able carry on your printing adventures at home; including learning the magic of printing with a spoon! All techniques can be easily used at home - no need for a printing press or expensive equipment.

We will explore using linocut tools before embarking on creating designs to be printed.

This course is suitable for beginners or those with previous linocut experience - even if that was a lesson at school!

The day costs £70 and includes plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits and cake! It includes tuition as well as all materials and equipment you will need on the day.
