As a mixed media artist and Gut Health Specialist, I founded ‘Anna Clarke–Create Nourish Heal’ to blend my passions for creativity and well-being. I believe strongly in the mind-gut connection and use art as a tool for healing, having personally experienced its power after losing my father and painting memorable scenes on his clothes.I now run ‘Rags to Treasure’ workshops, guiding others to paint memories on garments to cherish.
The beauty of nature, especially the coastal landscapes of St Ives and Salcombe, are constant sources of inspiration for my art with their ever-changing textures, patterns and colours, which I capture in my art using collage, fabric, cold wax and textural paint.Printing is another passion, especially collagraph, using a historic print house in St Ives, and eco-printing with natural foliage.
Please join me for my Solo exhibition in my coachhouse studio, and enjoy refreshments and homemade cakes.
