Art at Alscot
Region: Stratford-upon-Avon
Artform: Glass
For the first time I will be exhibiting my artworks at ‘Art at ALSCOT’. There will be 25 talented artists and makers work to see at this year’s event, so a good variety of different art disciplines.
I’ll be showcasing my kiln-formed glass art, from my contemporary white gazebo in the grounds of Alscot House.
My artworks will be from my latest and past collections, including my bespoke cityscape wall art, centrepiece bowls, plates, light catchers and coaster sets. Commissions are also welcome.
My new collections include my most bold and textured artworks to date. I construct my ‘Passing Shapes’ artworks in the kiln and fire them multiple times, they have a wonderful handmade quality. The transmitted light and shadows through the glass becomes an integral part of the art.
I will be in my studio developing these new processes over the coming months, so I look forward to exhibiting them at Warwickshire Open Studios Summer Art Weeks.
