37 Claire Seneviratne
Wren Hall
Region: Warwick
Artform: Ceramics
As a contemporary ceramic artist, my work is inspired by the solar system, physics, and the interplay of gravity and balance. Each piece is meticulously crafted with small bases that expand outward, echoing planetary forms and the forces that shape our world. I incorporate gold lustre and copper glazes, often using a blow torch to achieve vibrant, dynamic finishes. These techniques bring a cosmic feel to my pots, while emphasizing the Earth’s fragility and preciousness. Through my art, I aim to evoke a sense of universal connection, respect for our planet, and a reminder that we are all world citizens. My work has been exhibited widely and appreciated for its innovative forms and finishes, blending science and art in unique harmony.
