I will be exhibiting in a gazebo in our beautiful garden, very close to Harbury Village hall, behind which is a large car park. I paint pictures that reflect a range of moods from wild seascapes to tranquil landscapes and the human condition from exhilaration and high energy to calm intimate moments. I enjoy finding new ways of using light, tone, colour, composition and ways of laying down paint to bring my “stories” to life. One of my special interests is to produce my “Cities re-imagined” in which I explore what visual images make a place unique (its buildings, people, landscapes and activities) and then I arrange those images in a way that reflects the soul of that city. I will demonstrate my approach at our summer show.
