Inspiration is taken from everyday life – snippets of sun through woodland trees, berries in hedgerows, sunlight on water and bright colours of fruit sitting in pottery bowls. Alongside Annie’s oil paintings will be some mixed media work, giclee prints and cards.
Annie will have her easel set up and will be painting. Her sketchbooks will be on display, so you can see her process and ideas leading up to the paintings. Annie will have just returned from a week’s painting with Vicki Norman in Newlyn, so there’ll be Cornish seascapes too!
Annie has participated several times in the Strada Easel challenge, painting daily for the month. Annie is also an active member of Stratford Art Society , The Vale Of Evesham Art Society (organising workshops), Broadway Arts Festival (exhibition team) and LSA Artroom (hanging team). Annie won the Broadway Arts Festival Plein Air Competition in 2020 and won the Composition Award at Stratford Art Society in 2024.
