Region: Harbury
Artform: Collage, Jewellery & silversmithing, Photography, Textiles
Sarah will be showing a range of gemstone jewellery using gems that will be familiar to you and some that you will probably have never come across before with silver, oxidised silver, gold vermeil or gold. She likes to combine many different gems in her jewellery in a rich tapestry of colour but also makes more restrained single colour pieces, all with great attention to detail.
A fascination with the detail in natural things is also what inspires her in her photography and the work that follows on from that. Coastal features exposed at low tide, plants seen on walks, in beautiful gardens open to the public and creatures and plants in her own garden, which is on the wildlife friendly side, are all sources of material to get ideas flowing.
Sarah looks forward your visit and is happy to discuss commissions, answer questions about her work but with absolutely no pressure to buy. It’s all about an enjoyable, arty outing for visitors and her work being seen by the wider public.
