This year I’m delighted to be joining the Imago group exhibition at The Art Barn.
I’m a basket weaver from New Zealand, currently living in Stratford-upon-Avon. I create baskets using locally sourced NZ flax (Phormium) using traditional Māori weaving techniques. My baskets range from intricately woven, patterned baskets using both natural and hand-dyed NZ flax.
This year, alongside my NZ flax baskets, I will be showing my range of Japanese-inspired baskets woven with kamihimo (somband).

I will also be demonstrating my basket weaving during the exhibition.
