Region: Stratford-upon-Avon

Artform: Painting, Textiles

I am an award winning textile artist creating individual anthropomorphic characters from recycled and found materials. They are not toys, nor cute, but are endearing and represent a mythical, magical and fairytale world.
I also produce a small range of high quality upcycled clothing, each piece is unique and I only use pre-loved fabrics. They are often very decorative, colourful, and made for folk who like to have one off pieces.
I have been a textile artist most of my life, becoming full-time 10 years ago when I opened my first shop selling my work. I ran this for 6 years and, although very successful, the demands on my time were too great. As I also have a passion for gardening, the shop left me no spare time so I returned to part-time 5 years ago, and have happily continued to create and sell events, shows, etc.
I occasionally run workshops and give talks. I love to have feedback about my work, so do follow me on social media and if you have any questions please do ask!
