Wren Hall
Region: Warwick
Artform: Glass
Melissa Keskinkilinc is a glass and enamel artist, teacher, and art psychotherapist. She creates handmade decorative, yet functional, fused, blown and cast glass to add colour to any space. Inspired by nature, each piece is designed and created by hand. Her work is bright and colourful, and she loves to make work that will make people smile.
Having spent her childhood by the sea, memories of that time are reflected in her work, which tends to merge with other passions such as teaching. She uses her skills as a primary and early years specialist to connect with most ages during glass and enamel workshops.
She has worked with schools and community groups to create collaborative projects, sharing the magic of glass and enamel with new artists. Her drive to push boundaries by exploring the limits of the material is one of the things that she loves most about working with glass.
Commissions are welcome.
