If you have ever spent a day with me you will know I have to take in what is around me whether it’s the thrill of seeing a flower head catching the light, admiring a tree silhouette, or stopping on a beach to watch the ebb and flow of the sea.
Alongside my landscape photography, I enjoy the calming process of suminagashi marbling, both of which I incorporate into my hand-stitched bookbinding.
I will be exhibiting at Art at the Alex and demonstrating various methods, depending on the weather: pinhole camera photography, cyanotype, suminagashi marbling, and bookbinding. I will be in person on the Thursday evenings and weekends.
