John Beaman 1940 – 2024: A Retrospective
This year we are celebrating the life and work of artist, teacher of watercolours and Oldwych Gallery founder, the late John Beaman. This very personal exhibition will showcase work from the family and from private collections, and artworks not previously exhibited, alongside some familiar favourites, all within the little barn that is a permanent gallery and selling space adjacent to the beautiful Warwickshire farmhouse that was John’s home. The exhibition will highlight what a talented, prolific and extremely versatile artist and draughtsman he was. Tea, coffee and homemade cake will be on sale each day.
If you knew John you are warmly invited to join us for a preview evening, from 5pm on Friday 20th June, when you can enjoy and share memories of John with his family over a glass of fizz.
