An artist based in Wellesbourne, Jacky paints in both acrylics and oils, enjoying extending her practice into printing, drypoint etching, and pastels. She is a member of the VAF, LSA and Kineton Art Group, and has exhibited in various locations including a solo exhibition at East Lodge, Leamington. Subjects that fascinate her are landscapes drawn from the natural world and also the built environment. The patterns of light falling on interiors, a streetlit rainy street at dusk, or a storm brewing over an isolated house create atmosphere and drama as subjects that just have to be portrayed! She enjoys the process of commissions, working closely with her customer.
During Open Studios at Ettington Church you will find 8 artists showing a wide variety of styles, subject matter, and media. There will be refreshments to enjoy and artists keen to show you what they love to do. On offer to buy there’s everything from inexpensive small items, cards and prints, to well framed larger canvases.
