Is admission free for all venues?
Yes, admission is free for all venues.
Where can I pick up a brochure?
In the run up to our Summer event our brochures are widely distributed across the region to cafes, shops, libraries, museums, art galleries, tourist information and other public venues, where they can be picked up for free. Or you can download a copy here.
I just want to visit my local venues; where are they?
Use our sparkly new Search nearby feature. Simply enable GPS or enter your postcode and the website will do the rest – handy for when you’re on the move with your smartphone. The venues are also listed by town/area in the brochure.
Can I bring my child in a buggy?
This should be OK. The venues are artists’ homes and studios, so we recommend contacting the artists in advance to check their access. You may also like to take a look at our Family Friendly venues on the Search exhibitions page.
I have mobility issues; where can I find information about accessibility?
The venues are artists’ homes and studios, so accessibility is different for each one. Icons show the level of accessibility against each artist's listing in the brochure and more information can be found on the individual exhibition pages on the website. You may also wish to contact the artists directly to discuss your particular needs.
Are dogs allowed?
Assistance dogs are welcome at all venues. Some venues will also welcome family pets. We recommend contacting the artists in advance to check before you go.
Can I take part in workshops and demonstrations?
A number of artists are offering workshops and demonstrations this year. Please search for Workshops and Demonstrations on the Search exhibitions page.
Can you recommend places to eat and drink during the event?
