Corinna’s ceramic work uses traditional hand-building techniques, using porcelain clay, sometimes paired with unconventional materials.
The addition or integration of found objects, like wood or metal, imbue the pieces with a new purpose or meaning.
The fascination of the varied surface colouring through saggar-firing is her inspiration for further exploration of the process. Some of her pieces (e.g. brooches, necklaces) are wearable and are combined with oxidised sterling silver and hand-made beads.
Her prints employ a multitude of techniques, mono-printing, etching, mixed media, often with quirky titles.
Corinna has exhibited locally, nationally, and internationally, most recently in China (ceramics).
