As a classical musician I have spent my life creating art that disappears into the ether … About four years ago I signed up for art classes as a New Year’s resolution in order to paint a picture and produce more tangible art. I found that I really enjoyed painting again, which I had not had time to do since I was a teenager. I have been exploring different media, particularly enjoying watercolour. I seem to make my family and friends happy with the work that emerges, and so I decided, along with my two friends with whom I paint in a barn every week, to share my craft more widely. This is the first time I have ever exhibited anywhere!
