I enjoy experimenting with different painterly techniques using acrylics, oils and mixed media on paper, canvas and board. I'm inspired by the light effects, patterns and shapes in the natural world, from my garden and travels to wild places in Cornwall, Wales and particularly southern Spain where the Mediterranean light and Moorish architecture are fascinating. I try to reflect the atmosphere of these places, so I enjoy trying out different paint effects.
