Dale Street Methodist Church is the perfect setting in the town centre to come and see the work of 8 talented individual artists, a vibrant painting group and unique Land Art Photography group – Jane Yates, Lorna Ashworth, Anita Daffern, Gill Buick, Glenys Bishop, Sueli Moreton, Judy Dyson, Ellie Rose, Painting without Numbers and the Land Art Photography group. Sueli Moreton started to create artwork as a hobby in 2002 after attended art classes with well recognised Brazilian artists in São Paulo. Applying oil or acrylics on canvas using bright colours, the artist tried to capture the images of beauty and warmth of her country using photography to capture landscapes and portraits for inspiration. Fabrics are also used for the mixed-media artwork she produces. "I paint what makes me happy and to share a story".
