My main textile art form is handmade felt. Within this medium I aim to explore the beauty of texture and colour within nature. I am constantly fascinated by the possibilities of this 6,000-year-old craft and like to push its potential with playful 3D pieces. Joyful and contemplative artworks sit alongside each other in the form of wall hangings and delightful homewares. I also produce wearable art in the form of scarves and bags. When I work I am aware of being part of the bigger picture and that nature and art can uplift and heal us. I also like to inspire and impart this feeling of wellbeing to others when they participate in my workshops.
