Dale Street Methodist Church is the perfect setting in the town centre to come and see the work of 8 talented individual artists, a vibrant painting group and unique Land Art Photography group – Jane Yates, Lorna Ashworth, Anita Daffern, Gill Buick, Glenys Bishop, Sueli Moreton, Judy Dyson, Ellie Rose, Painting without Numbers and the Land Art Photography group. I have been creating Linocut prints for a few years, this will be my second year exhibiting in WOS. I love the process involved in creating a print; the drawing and then the carving and then the reveal at the end when ink is on paper. Often my print are often made using one colour ink and the colour of the paper. I am inspired by what is around me, be it nature, animals or everyday objects.
I also make jewellery from recycled cake and biscuit tins.
