My landscape oil paintings are representational and semi-abstract paintings of wide vistas and dramatic skies. At the same time, my figurative and portrait works are sensitive, detailed studies with a focus on my classical style of painting.
The semi-abstract landscapes capture the atmosphere and drama of nature and its seasons with wide-open vistas and large deep skies. My figurative works are emotive, with a traditional representation heavily influenced by the classics, in which power, action or grace are often depicted.
Working between oil on canvas and my more experimental platform of digital art, it’s always ‘passion’ that drives me to create.
In my studio in Offenham, I continue to create an eclectic body of works that I show at premium art fairs, galleries, and various exhibitions.
I shall be present throughout Open Studios and demonstrate my working process with oil on canvas. I also produce bespoke, private commissions that cover both my portraiture and landscape works.
