After driving from Southam to the barn on the hill, see deckchairs, made-to-measure stools and other textile items. Using home-dyed cottons and velvets, much of the work is rag rugged or stitched into, with frayed edges and loose ends. These pieces reflect the artist's fascination with the regeneration of plants. Older fabrics are used alongside the new.
This same interest shows within linear paint marks in the large expressive paintings on the walls.
