I am a mixed media artist who relishes experimenting with different techniques to constantly challenge my creative voice.
My work combines my love of the open sea and admiration of Mother Nature the Artist, both of which inspire me with their ever-changing iteration of texture, pattern and wondrous colour.
I have discovered a particular passion for printing, especially collograph using the historic Print House at St Ives School of Painting and, more recently, eco printing, inspired by attending a local workshop.
Influences of my Textile Design degree and Fashion background are apparent in my recent creative practice, which is dedicated to my beloved father, where I have painted scenes of places we’ve spent together on his sailing clothes to keep his memory alive. These pieces are not for sale as they are deeply personal but I am delighted to open up my coachhouse studio to share examples of my therapeutic practice.
