Last year lockdown gave me the time to experiment with both of my favourite mediums: putting colour directly into the clay rather than using glazes to add colour; and trying out eco-printing on silk and other textiles. I have combined the eco-printing with silk painting to create beautiful subtle works and I am very pleased with my intricately coloured flower bowls. I’m planning to continue this experimentation and extend it into combined wearable art, multicoloured clay lamps with complementing lampshades and more!
Like last year I will be exhibiting in beautiful garden surroundings with lots of other fantastic artists working in a multitude of disciplines, and there are amazing cakes and refreshments!
